The RAMs Templates in the system should be regularly reviewed and updated where necessary. Updating a RAMs Template can be done from the "Templates" area within the "Risk Assessment and Method Statement" module.
The template area will first show the "Current Templates" list. Locate the template which needs to be updated. The search bar can help filter the list.
NOTE: If the template has been archived, it will be available within the "Archived Templates" tab.
Each template has an actions button on the right-hand side. Selecting this will show all of the available actions for that template. To edit the template, select the "Update" action from the actions menu.
The review page for the template will now be displayed. To edit a section, select the "Edit" button for the relevant area.
The system will ask if the template should be edited, as this will result in a new version being created. To continue with the edit, select the "Edit" button on the pop-up window.
After making the necessary adjustments to the template, to save the changes, select the "Save and Return" button at the bottom of the webpage.
As there have been changes to the Template, a reason for the changes must be provided to help Company Users understand why a change has been made. After entering the reason, select the "Save" button.
The template review page will display once again, giving the Company Admin the opportunity to edit a different section of the template if needed. The template will now be updated, and a new version has been created, this change is tracked and can be seen within the "History" for the template.
