A training matrix is available within the system. This can be found within Training > Training Matrix. Contacts will need to have certifications assigned to them for this to work. 


There are two ways to assign certifications. In this help file, you will be guided through how to assign the certifications from a contacts record. 


NOTE: You should only follow this help file if you intend to create a new certification for an individual contact. If the certification already exists in the database, please refer to this help file instead.


To do this, please head to Training > Contacts. 



A list of all contacts added for Quick Signs or manually added to this area will appear. The list can be filtered using the search bar and group filter options above the list. Once the contact is located, select the action button. A small menu will appear. To add a certification you will need to be on the contacts record. To do this, select the "Edit" button. 



This will load the contacts record. A contact record has tabs. To add a certification, select the "Training Matrix" tab. 



This area will show all of the currently assigned certifications for the contact. To add a new certification to their record, select the "New Certification" button at the top right. 



A pop-up window will load. This window requires you to enter the details of the new certification by giving it a Type and a Name.



By default, the "Has the training been completed?" slider will be set to "no". You can add training which has not been completed yet, if you need to. Setting this slider to "Yes", will unlock date and evidence/certificate options. 



After entering a completion date and an expiry date (if applicable), you can also upload any evidence or a copy of the certificate. 


NOTE: You can only upload PDF, JPG or PNG files. Anything you upload will show in a preview below the upload box and also be available to view on the public training matrix links you may share in the future. 


Finally you can any notes which apply to this contact for this certification. After entering all the information you require for the certification, select the "Save" button at the bottom right. The certification is then added to the contacts record but also added to the certification database so that others may be assigned it too.
