There are three ways to remove a certification from a contact. This help file will cover two of those options.
First, locate the certification you need to unassign. All certifications can be found within Training > Certifications.
This will load a list of all existing certifications. You can filter this list at the top left, to help with finding the right one. Once you have located the certification, select the action button on the right. A small menu will appear. To access the certification record, select the "update" action.
The certification record will load and display a list of all contacts below. There is a search bar at the top right, which can be used to filter the list and find the contact you wish to unassign. To unassign the contact you can either:
a. Untick the tick box on the left of the contact.
or
b. Select the action button on the right side. This will load a small menu. Select the "unassign" action.
Selecting either option will prompt a pop-up. Unassigning a contact from a certification will result in the details being deleted for this contact. The details cannot be recovered. If you are happy to continue, select the "Unassign" button.
After selecting "unassign", a second pop-up will appear. This is to confirm the training should be removed and should prevent you from removing it accidentally, as the details cannot be recovered. To complete the unassign process, type the word "Unassign" into the text box, then select the "Confirm" button.
The contact will no longer have the certification on their record.
