Contacts can be assigned to a certification as you create a new certification or by visiting an existing certification.

To assign contacts, first make sure you are on the certifications record. To do this, please go to Training > Certifications. 



You will be taken to a new page, showing all existing Certifications. To add contacts to an existing certification, select the action button to the right. A small menu will then appear. Select the "Update" action. 



The certification will then load. Displaying the name and type at the top left. Below will be a list of contacts. 


NOTE: This list of contacts can be filtered using the option at the top left of the contact list. This can be used to find one contact or a group of contacts.


To assign a contact to the certification, select the tick box on the left of the contact.  



A pop-up window will then appear for details related to this contact. By default, the "Has the training been completed?" slider will be set to "no". You can add training to a contact ahead of it being completed. Setting this slider to "Yes" will then expand the pop-up to show more details. 



If the training has been completed, you will then need to enter the date the certification was completed. You can also add an expiry date for the training by clicking on the "Does this training expire" slider. 



A certificate or evidence can also be uploaded within the "Certificate" area. This can be click and dragged from your file explorer, or you can click on the "Select or drop file here" button to load your file explorer. 


NOTE: A certificate is not mandatory. You can upload JPG, PNG or PDF. A preview of what you upload will display at the bottom of the pop-up. 


After you have entered all the mandatory information, to save the details for this contact, select the "Save" button.
