To generate a full RAMs document using artificial intelligence (AI), the user will need to be within the Risk Assessment & Method Statement module.

At the top right of this module, there is an option to "Create a new RAMs". Select this.

A pop-up window will appear asking how the User would like to create the RAMs document. Manually, or using AI. To generate the RAMs document using AI, select the AI graphic/button.

NOTE: If you are on a multiuser plan, this pop-up will only appear if the Admin has given you permission to generate content using AI.

After selecting "AI" another pop-up will appear asking for details of the task/job. The user must enter some detail about the task/job here and then select the "Submit" button to begin generating.

Once submitted, step 1 will load. The document name will match the description just entered by the User. This can be changed to whatever is needed for the job/project. The remaining details in step 1 must be completed, in the same way as if this RAMs were being made manually. To continue, select the "continue" button after all relevant details have been entered.

Selecting continue begins the AI generation process. A message will appear on screen to let the user know the system is busy creating the content. Once the generation is complete, the user will be moved to step 2 and a pop-up message will appear. This message makes the user aware that AI has created the content, which should now be reviewed. AI is getting smarter each day, but it may have still added in details which are not relevant to the specific task your business is undertaking.

The User will need to tick the box to acknowledge they have read the statement and then select the "Ok" button to continue.

Three new Hazards will have been created within a group named "AI Generated", these hazards will each have one risk assessment. This risk assessment should be reviewed. The user can do this by selecting the "Assess Risk" option by the hazard. Further Risk Assessments can be created using AI if necessary. To see more information on how to do this, please click here.

Once the risk assessments have been reviewed, the user can move into step 3 by selecting the "continue" button at the bottom right of the page.

Moving in to step 3 will cause another pop-up to appear, this time letting the user know the activities should be reviewed too, as it was also created using AI. To continue, the user must tick the acknowledgement box and then select the "Ok" button.

The activity created by the AI will appear at the top of the activities list. This should be reviewed to ensure the content is all correct and in the right order. The steps can be edited or deleted using the action button on the right. Steps can also be re-ordered by clicking and dragging them. Again, this is made using AI, so responses will not always be perfect. The steps may mention creating risk assessments or the types of PPE to wear, which are items already covered elsewhere in the document.

Additional activities can be generated if needed. For more information on how to do this, please click here. After reviewing the activity, the User can continue to step 4 using the "Continue" button at the bottom of the webpage.

The "scope of works" will have been generated based on the information entered in step 1 and step 3. This method statement can be updated manually if the User needs to add or remove information.

The User should also review the "Legislation" method statement, as the AI will have included extra legislation to cover the risk assessments it created earlier. If there are any duplicates in this area, or legislation that is not relevant, it can be deleted by the User.

The AI has not helped with other sections within step 4. The User will need to review all other method statements and select the relevant PPE manually. Once happy with the content, to save the document, the user can select the "Save and Exit" button at the bottom right of the page.
