RAMs Templates can be created for the Company Users, to help save some time when they need to create a Risk Assessment and Method Statement. The template will allow the Company Admin to select Hazards, risk assessment and activities.

Creating a template is done from the "Templates" sub module. This is located within the "Risk Assessment and Method Statement" module in the left-hand menu.

The Templates area will load the "Current Templates" by default. These are all the templates created by the Company Admin and Company Users. To create a new template, select the "Create new template" button towards the top right of the webpage.

As this will just be a template, the details which are normally needed in step 1 when creating a document are not necessary here. The only details the system needs will be a name, reference and visibility status for the template. Once this information has been entered, select the "continue" button.

The next few steps are identical to creating a Risk Assessment and Method Statement. Step 2 allows the Company Admin to set which hazards and their linked risk assessments will be part of the document. Step 3 allows the Company Admin to choose which activities and steps are involved in the activity. Finally, step 4 allows the Company Admin to review and add detail to the Method Statements. Once all the necessary detail has been added, to create the Template, select the "Save and Exit" button.

This will load the template review page, giving the Company Admin another opportunity to review the different sections and make changes. If the document is complete, to return to the templates module, select the "Return to Current Templates" button.

The template is now created and available to company users. Company users can be given the permission to create templates themselves. This is done from the "User Permissions" tab on their profiles, within the "User Management" module.
