There may be a time a locked document needs to be assigned to a user, who can then make the necessary changes before making the document live. 


To assign a locked document to a user, select the Dashboard module.



NOTE: It may help to set the review status to locked from within the filter option.


Once the locked document has been located, select the options button on the right side. Within the options menu for a document, there is an option to "assign document". Select this.



After selecting the "assign document" option, a smaller window will appear. This window will display the details of the user the document is currently assigned to, if any. To assign the document to another user, select a company user from the drop down menu. 



Once a user has been selected, their details will appear at the bottom of the window. To confim the assignment, select the "Assign" button at the top right of the window. 



The system will then require a reason to be entered for this assignment. After a reason has been supplied, select the "confirm" button at the top right. 



Email confirmations of the change will then be sent to both the user whom the document was assigned and the user who the document is now assigned.
