Basic settings for documents created in RAMs App can be set by heading to the "My Profile" section, including the ability to add a custom PDF which can then be used a cover page on all RAMs documents.
The “document settings” are located on the user profile. This is accessed by selecting the username at top right of the webpage. A menu will then load. Select the “My Profile” option.
To update the default document settings, select the “Document settings” tab.
The following can be updated:
Risk Assessment & Method statements
Select whether the following are automatically included in the RAMs Documents
- Numbered document sections - Set as "Yes" if you would like numbered document sections (1.0, 1.1, 1.2 etc.). Set as "No" if you do not want numbered sections within the document.
- Briefing record & sign off sheet - Set as "Yes" if you would like a briefing record and sign off sheet. Set as "No" if you do not want a briefing record and sign off sheet within the document.
- Table of contents - Set as "Yes" if you would like a list which details all the sections and information contained within the document. Set as "No" if you do not want this information within the document.
COSHH
Select whether the following is automatically included in the COSHH Assessments.
- Numbered document sections - Set as "Yes" if you would like numbered document sections (1.0, 1.1, 1.2 etc.). Set as "No" if you do not want numbered sections within the document.
- Briefing record & sign off sheet - Set as "Yes" if you would like a briefing record and sign off sheet. Set as "No" if you do not want a briefing record and sign off sheet within the document.
Custom PDF's
Upload a custom PDF. Once uploaded an option will appear to set it as a cover page. By default the documents will appear at the end of the RAMs document. Selecting the “Cover page” tick box will instead place the PDF at the beginning.
NOTE: Adding a custom PDF will mean the PDF appears on every RAMs document you create.
NOTE: Make sure to select the “add document” button after uploading the PDF for it to be saved.
