RAMs App will have default work categories within step 3, which each contain activities. If an activity is missing, custom activities can be added to the work categories.
First, select the work category which needs the new activity when in step 3 of creating a RAMs document.
Each work category has an actions button on the right-hand side of its header. To create a new activity within the work category, select the action button. Then select “Add activity”.
A pop-up window will appear. Enter the activity name in the text box. To complete the activity setup, select the “Add activity” button at the top right of the window.
The page will then move to show the created activity. As this is a new activity, there are no steps. An activity must have steps. To create a step for the actiivity, select the action button on the right of its header. Then select “Add activity step”.
NOTE: The activity must be selected by setting the slider on the left to “Yes”. If set as “No”, the action will not appear.
A familiar pop-up window will appear. Enter the steps details into the text box provided. To save the activity step, select the “Add activity step” button at the top right.
A new pop-up message will appear. The activity step can be added for this RAMs document only, by selecting “This document only”. Or the activity step can appear on all future RAMs documents too by selecting “New documents”.
The activity step will now display for the activity. Repeat this process until all the steps required have been added to the activity.
