HAVs and Noise assessments can be added to existing Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMs) documents from the review page.
The option to add HAVs & Noise assessments will only appear if at least one of the following hazards have been selected within Step 2, “Hazard ID and Risk Assessment”
- General: Noise
- Tools & Equipment: Vibrating Tools and Equipment
To begin the HAVs & Noise assessment, select the “Add assessment” button.
The system will then load the HAVs & Noise assessment page, where details must be entered relating to the tool being used and who is using it.
Once the details have been entered, select the “Add activity” button. The system will then generate the assessment below the “assessment details”.
NOTE: More than one activity can be added to the assessment.
After reviewing the assessment, to add this to the RAMs document, select the “Save” button.
The HAVs & Noise assessment will now appear on the review page for the RAMs document. The assessment will now be part of the PDF generated from this RAMs document.
